Bayonetta is basically the epitome of the Devil May Cry-over the top-combo crazy beat ‘em up. The combat system is incredibly well-done, the scenarios are unexpected, the art direction is gorgeous, and it never takes itself too seriously

None of those games are the best games of their entire genre like Bayonetta is.

I think it’s pretty basic to expect a multiplayer shooter to allow you to play casual matches with friends. Like...I don’t want to be in competition against my friends. That makes losses sting more.
