And it was safe. They just hit all the beats of A New Hope, but are reeling in the love based on nostalgia and the diverse new cast. That’s it.

But not many people “hate” it. The people who “hate” it are the ones who recognize it for what it is: An okay film.
Please. It was as safe a film as you could get. In all honesty, had the new characters been white males, this film would have been savaged from the beginning by “the internet”. All the people claiming it to be amazing would be talking about how it was just a remake and it was mediocre, which is how I know it wasn’t…
? No it didn’t. There was zero chance anything bad would come of i t (did you really think they were going to let anyone die? If so, that might explain why you like the film so much) and they made things worse by letting Rey win, which is awful for both her and Kylo Ren’s character development. At best she should have…
Yeesh. Worst list by far. Anyone who has TFA first cannot be taken seriously.
Let the truth flow through you: RotS is a better film. Embrace the hate that comes with acknowledging it.
Okay I’ll bite even though I’m not a sexist asshole:
Nah, he’s right.
He’s right.
Ummmm...are you sure you aren’t talking about TFA? Cause the opening is the only really good part of that film. The rest is nonsense filled with nostalgia and Driver. That was easily the weakest final battle I’ve seen in any movie in a while.
