I always wonder when I see articles pop up if there’s someone just waiting to post a negative comment on whatever article they see first, no matter the topic.
It wasn’t anti-Nazi, it was anti-fascism/nationalism. So neither works were about Nazism.
The film had a pretty big budget and pretty polished effects, so it…
You should listen to your friend. It’s a satire. It’s anti-fascism/nationalism. But if you “don’t get it” then I probably shouldn’t waste my time explaining it, Google has enough resources so you could do your own research if you wanted to.
Also don’t forget the scene at the climax of the film when Brendan Frasier is fighting a ton of mummies with a sword. The whole scene has a very Army of Darkness vibe to it that is just perfect for this film.
Yeah, when this trailer played the audience kind when “what?” and there was also some chuckling because it was so vague and non specific. I honestly forgot about it until reading this post, because the teaser is so vague and brief, but I remember thinking it was either a show or a web series or something. Either way…
You’re my hero right now. It’s been a little while since I’ve laughed so hard I cried, and here I am at work.
Apparently because HaveBlogWillTravel has an opinion about a movie that makes it a fact.
It’s not strange however to see some fanboy still point it out in a cynical way.
Well they probably had already planned this for at least a month and they’re just now announcing it. Or at least when Zack Snyder officially stepped down.
Yep, he wears it so naturally it’s almost scary.
You can put the stick down, the horse has been dead for several years now.
I thought they were portrayed as juxtaposed with how they described (and though of) themselves. They described themselves as perfect beings and were above all other races and civilizations. When you actually see them interact with each other and other races they’re competitive and angry and extremely flawed. Basically…
But the horses in the Lang farm. They drowned while we were celebrating!!!
A great joke made even better with an explanation.
The assassination of Captain America by the coward Marvel Comics.
I’m glad they’re embracing the mythical and magical side of the story. For too long we’ve been seeing remakes of classical tales that have been more ‘realistic’ and without magic. I like that this film has so much style and weird stuff in it, including the magic aspect of the story.
I’d like to see a Venn Diagram of people who are excited about this but are also critical of BvS saying it’s “black and white”.
Sorry if you didn’t like it. You can go watch the uptight Euro cut of the film that cuts it. Personally I thought it was hilarious and a great take off of the many Bond movies that more or less end with Bond getting sex. But keep posting comments about how you don’t like it and let that categorize the entire movie for…
Okay, I got that and the comics confused.
I thought Captain Atom was that bomb that destroyed everything right before Flash recreated the timeline and changed the Flashpoint.
