Correct. I always turn on left signal as soon as I enter the block of which I plan to turn on so person behind me has plenty of time to get over. Of course everyone else turns on their signal AT the light.

I agree with this BUT it’s so frustrating when the vehicles are turning onto a two lane street and the person turning right crosses into the left lane.
