Yeah, that’s not how that works. I bike commute. The fastest route between work and home (5km) is a straight line up an arterial road. I could meander through the park and its lovely multi-use trails. That would take me an extra 45 minutes and I’d be putting pedestrians in danger. Commuting is not a leisurely ride. I…

Stupid comment. The bikers weren’t doing anything illegal. This is clearly negligence on part of the trucking company - failure to properly secure the load. The load should be secured, regardless of the sudden maneuvers or braking.

I bike to commute. We’re valid transportation.
