Okay, adding pizza to the list of foods AVC feels below them… I'm assuming all pizza because these guys yknow.

It helps with the streak of wanting vigiliante justice through exacting revenge coupled with a huge amount of othering as if these people have stopped being humans and therefore can have anything done to them.

Nice but seriously wondering why it isn't on Hulu… yknow, the thing they own a third of.

I agree but it was basically a dead show walking with the mid-season rejigger making for a far less interesting show. I know many don't just want a Muppet Show reboot (see Muppets Tonight for how that ends) but looking here, you'd think a lot more just want more of the same and even then I doubt they truly want that,

Hmph, trouble with kids these days, too much feels and not enough privacy!

Yes, trust me. I am perfectly neutral, look at my featureless face and tell me I am untrustworthy.

I'm disgusted by how many upvotes you have.

I'm fine with the heightened broadness, maybe you wanted a more dour and contemplative look at her life but to me the Netflix series is entirely, almost unashamedly in Maria's voice.

NPH was not the issue there, trust me. The closest thing to it anymore is late night talkshows and even then it's nothing like The Muppet Show. Also, do you really need people to be complaining how rebooting The Muppet Show is destroying their childhood? It's lose-lose.

I don't know about that.

I'm pretty sure you'd be staring at an archaic trashfire instead rather than a low-key one like before. Rejigging variety shows to work once more is next to futile but I'm sure some day 1930s vaudeville moderately updated for the 1970s will have its chance once more once moderately updated for the 2010s.

I'm guessing this barely disguised GJI article is taking the place of the John Oliver one?

Ah.. guess I got huntin' to do.

I like your posts and would like to subscribe to your newsletter or failing that the RSS feed of your information source(s).

That's a good one, tell me more one little secrets!

That's true, Mike steps into failure because that's what he does, it's his burden in life, to make terrible life choices that backfire horribly for him.

Exactly, nobody is ever going to take that as fanservice unless they're being willfully obtuse to make a point or stupid.

I haven't forgotten about Moonbeam City!

It's going to seriously depend on what you find funny, for me it has shades of good jokes but is often just too heavy on the shock value to be funny. I'll say though that Paget Brewster always nails whatever weird thing she's saying.
