Shake and Bake!

Go to the forums. If you are willing to wait in line, there are plenty of well known high volume Chevy dealers that will let you order one at MSRP.

The charger you show in your picture is for charging the 12V SLI battery (staring, lights, ignition) battery. It is common for all corvettes (I’ve got that charger for my C7).

Currently have 5 cars registered, a Jeep, two Audi A6 quattros, a 944 NA and a 944 turbo.  All bought and paid for with cash. No car payments since 1988.

talk to a lemon lawyer!

it was a “normal” little cruise”

As others have mentioned, based on the story, it was already parked, and the attendant decided to take it for a drive, it’s clearly a joy ride.

I think it’s a joy ride in the sense that it was apparently parked perfectly well (Mr. Luck is quoted as saying he watched the valet park the car in front of the restaurant) and the valet took the car onto the streets. Afterward, the reason for the car not being in the parking space up front was that it had to be

The big reason for this 53-day average supply comes down to one thing: EVs. According to the outlet, those vehicles have a 103-day supply.”

I thought that dealerships gave us the best prices and without them, car prices would rise like a rocket.

Try to find inventory of Toyata and Honda. It is slim pickings.

Turns out marking up cars way above MSRP, with high payments might not have been a good long-term strategy.

So cheaper cars have the shortest inventory. Shocking, considering the brands have been pushing hard to sell more expensive product. Remember, the chip shortage meant manufacturers selling only more expensive models because of the fatter profit margins.

Fair market value is not fair.

Looked at a Mustang Mach-E with my son soon after they became available. $50k sticker with a $10k ADM, and ... they didn't have one available for a test drive. What a great marketing strategy.

Way back when I worked with a guy that had a 1st Gen MR2. One of the doors was a different color. I asked him about it and he told me to look in the car.

I have a better idea for your headline: “Driving a smaller vehicle has a higher likely hood of death in the event you get in a collision with a larger one”

Do people still not know that mass is a factor in a 2 body physics problem? That money buys safety? That excessive power is correlated with higher risk? How is the IIHS study on the wetness of water coming along?

I think it will be highly desirable, but the price will make it low volume. Another details that was oddly missing was range. It’s awesome to have all that performance, but if it has a 200 mile range (i.e., Kia EV6 GT) it’s day to day use it more limited.

the ev6 gts range is 206 miles.
