I was speaking more so the 360/X1 and PS3/4; I have a Wii U. It's library is "filled" with good games and the added fact that it, while annoy in execution, plays Wii games.

Exactly! There's a game for two sets of hardware, one has better specs... Which one will most likely have better gameplay and visuals? Save your money for the one with the better experience if you have the patience.

I still have my 360 also (you're lucky to still have a launch 360, mine suffered the RR) and an X1, I've bought more games for the 360 than the X1 in the past year so I feel there's plenty of games out there.

There's a glimmer of hope! It's called last gen games... I don't get why this is an issue, it happens with every new iteration of consoles. There's plenty of great last gen games out there, The new consoles' libraries are small so there's plenty of waiting to do before something compels one to jump ship.
