well, for one, the iphone 7 doesnt have actual fast charge tech built in. It can just pull a bit more juice from an ipad charger than a regular charger. (mainly because the included iphone charger is underpowered)

plenty of other oem fast chargers that are about the same size as an apple charger. My LG fast charger being an example of this.
