I’m not a fan of Micrsoft but they released a new Open Source cross-platform editor called Visual Studio Code, not to be mistaken with Visual Studio. It has lots of promise. You can easily extend with addons like Brackets or Atom but has the performance like Sublime. https://code.visualstudio.com/
