The shininess also isn't really helping her hide in the shadows.

I recently watched Brisco County Jr. In one of the first episodes, the main villain poisons one of his lackeys by cooking dinner with some smelly poison or other. In order to mask the scent of the poison, he tells the lackey to smell the violets on the table before eating dinner. The lackey dies shortly thereafter. I

I was just happy to see that I could wear a bra with most of them.

Yup! I grew up on a farm. We knew what stinging insects to avoid at all costs: Hornets & Paper Wasps. If you did run into one unknowingly, your immediate reaction (after cursing/screaming) would be to run like your life depended on it to the nearest enclosure.

I've always held the personal belief that getting stung by a honey bee was preferential to getting stung by a paper wasp (preference based strictly on the pain-scale alone). I'm glad to see that my preferences had some vague scientific backing.

I watched Time Bandits for the first time as an adult and found it quite awful. I was happy to see Primer close to the top, though.

I really loved how that movie portrayed vampires and how the people acted about the vampires. Collin Farrell was just so causal about killing/converting everyone. Nothing really threw him off. It was like he had dealt with a similar situation hundreds of times before and knew exactly how to deal with it all. It did

Sci-Fi and Fantasy publishers seem to know what their nerdy audience wants most. Hopefully the rest of the publishing industry will take a hint.

This exactly! I bought one of the first readers to market (Sony). The books came with DRM (limit of six copies of the file). It counted my current computer and my current reader as having a copy each. Then I upgraded Windows and it counted that upgrade as a third copy. Then I got a new reader and a new computer— four

I choked on my pretzels when I saw Booster Gold in the lineup. I think I might cry now.

First laugh of the morning. Thanks Saltboy. ;)

"I'm sorry, Dave. I'm afraid I can't do that."

I work in a creative field. The other day I meticulously planned a lie. I spent an entire day mulling over conversation topics and how I could spin out this lie. I had everything planned down to my reaction and posture. Then the moment came for me to lie and I told the truth. I couldn't even stop myself from telling

Skunk cabbage still gets my vote as the most-interesting plant. I stumbled onto a crop of the new plants when I was a little girl hiking through the creepy part of the woods in the springtime with my siblings. We thought they were alien pods and were afraid to touch them. Also, they smelled like skunks. I'm still not

I'm so sorry! :(

I know I've seen this movie at least once, but I don't remember any of that.

I'll take this recommendation to heart. I'm always looking for new books to read. It has a pretty good rating on Goodreads, too.

My eyes went from half-way asleep to very-interested as soon as I realized they were knitting patterns. I love that little boy's sweater. Completely awesome.

I don't feel like I'm qualified to vote in this round. I have not seen The Adventures of Pluto Nash. I'm kind of sad that I missed out on its awfulness. This must be rectified! Off to Netflix!!

This is amazing. Thank you for this update.
