On Reddit they use the NSFL tag. NSFL: Not Safe For Lunch/Life

Cyriaque Lamar: In reading these comments, I find myself wondering if you know ahead of time that your article is going to create a heated debate in the comments. Was there ever an incident when such a response came as a surprise to you?

I actually prefer to read actual books, but sometimes I'm reading such a large tome (Martin or King come to mind) that a quarter of the way in I'm checking the book cover to see if it has a free digital version. As much as I love to have a tangible copy in-hand, sometimes the size is very uncomfortable and I long to

When I was much, much younger I remember a garfield cartoon where Jon buys some jogging TV goggles, so that he could watch TV while jogging outside. Within a few feet, Jon was injured. I can't see how you could do much of anything with these things in. We already have people walking into traffic and drivers being

They've done The City and The City by Mieville not too long ago (last summer, I think).

I wish the hovers told me which tales they were from. :(

I must have blocked out that Clown scene in the The Brave Little Toaster. O_O

Awesome! I'll add it to my list of things to read.

Any way to get ahold of this series without buying a bunch of musty old comics? (e.g. novel format or online) I looked up Machine Man on Marvel Online, and it only has 14 comics that have him in a cameo. :(

Thank you! Added it to my to-read list. :D

Machine Man is my favorite Marvel character. I discovered him while reading Marvel Zombies. I was more than a little disappointed that he didn't have his own series.

I opened this list to look for the Inheritance book. Is it just me or is it not on the list?

I didn't read the caption until after I was convinced it was Roland (pre-lobstrosity and tooterfish sandwiches).

This is easily the best of the entire collection of kitty superheroes.

I think everyone in this thread should be best friends. We should meet up for coffee and discuss JLI like proper nerds.* (*Via our laptops, of course.)

AWESOME! I was wondering if Guy had used it to create bimbos and was disappointed when I didn't see any on the list.

Seconded! I was really, really hoping Guy would have the #1 spot. He is and always will be my favorite Green Lantern.

You know, now that I think about it. Everyone I know who died watched television... and I mean EVERYONE. O_O

Ridiculously awesome.

I have so much love for AvP2—mainly because it quickly did away with many horror taboos. I found my mouth gaping open at the audacity of it all and then just laughed like a maniac.
