@Surrender Dorothy: Omega Man was based on the story I Am Legend. They are seriously remaking the same movie that quickly?? WTF?

@IraeNicole: I watched Piranha Part 2: The Spawning when I was a wee lass. It was on of the Sunday afternoon shows in the early 80's on network TV. The sound the flying Piranha make still gives me the willies.

@kleer001: I only manage to get through young adult books in a week. Actual adult books take me more like two weeks to a month. I tend to daydream while reading and will have to go back and re-read a page—that or I like to flip back to see if something I read previous was what I thought it was.

@kleer001: I can never read a book that quickly. I end up with enough fines that I end up paying the same price as the book. Usually I just end up buying used at the Library book sale. :) 50-cents is a good compromise.

OMG there are too many books on this list and I want all of them. *sob*

@razreshat: I don't know what Earth you live on, but mine is definitely at least a good 98,000 light-years in diameter. ;)

@AngriestGeek: I was wondering where all the non-skinny people were, but I guess they don't like hanging out in thongs and getting drunk in the middle of the desert.

I keep being reminded of UP when I look at these photos. I did some (brief) research, but can't find anything. Were these spires featured in Pixar's UP?

@Razoky: I would never miss freaking enormous spiders I'd find in my clothes sometimes.

@Josh Garratt: Oh man. I was in a theater of about 20-30 rows and sat about 20 rows back and still had difficulty. I can't imagine how bad it would be in that small of a room.

@Josh Garratt: The closer the image was to the screen, the harder it was to see. I'm not sure if we should have sat back further or if it was intentionally blurred. The chain-link fence (right before we were introduced to our protagonist) threw me way off. I kept trying to focus on it and realizing I should be

@Maddjonesy: That part was not actually in the movie.

@Post-Nuked: Yeah, I was thinking they should have been translucent. I think Christopher Lloyd did explain that they couldn't see, though, even though they do look like they were looking RIGHT AT YOU. O_O

I was wondering how you go about specializing as a seismologist diver. How would that even be safe? Wouldn't the aftershocks collapse the cave entrance shortly thereafter?

@G99: There was TONS of gore. Best gore I've seen in a long while. Dead Alive was the best, but I think this pulls a close second.

@chadbeckwith: It was also in 2D. I saw it in 3D and Piranha convinced me that frankly it's not worth it. 2D would have been just as awesome.

Eight-Legged Freaks was rated PG-13. Snakes on a Plane had Samuel L. Jackson and 99% less nudity.

And now I have to listen to Muse. :)
