The tuner scene was always more than 90 percent broke kids with more ambitions than money, and poor taste to boot. I don’t think that diminishes those who did tuning well. It’s just the way things were. And just because the kids were wack, doesn’t mean they weren’t still part of the scene.

Longevity. The 7.3 was designed for commercial applications, and should last a very long time in an relatively lightweight passenger truck.
