Potholes are the kind of medicine that should be strictly regulated and available by prescription only.

The only thing keeping me away from a Sequoia is the 4.7L’s timing belt. I know they’re otherwise reliable, but I just don’t want to spend the time and money every 90k getting a timing belt changed. I want something that needs as little maintenance as possible.
Glad it went to a good home.
My inner Butt-Head thinks, “Holy shit, that was cool! Huh-huh.”
Look how fast I am! I’m passing all these drivers who are following the rules that tell them to slow down! I’m the best racing driver ever!
Here’s the deal: I’m arguing because people are responding by saying, “It’s only snow, NBD.”
I find an armored Suburban far less obvious. It attracts less attention from the very people I’m armoring myself against.
And I think it’s ridiculous to claim that the simple view that people should leave other people’s property alone is ridiculous.
Once again, you do not get to tell other people how they should value or treat their property.
Last time I checked, we build roads for vehicular traffic, not snowball fights.
I’m not dying. Despite your own interpretation of my intent, there are quite a few commenters who understand that minor assholery often escalates to major assholery, and that it’s simply never OK to throw things at other people’s property.
There are several commenters here who did exactly that: dismissed this behavior by saying, “It’s only snow.”
I don’t have a problem with people exercising their right to free speech. Unless they’re violating TPM restrictions, shouted insults are simply people exercising a right they have. You do not, however, have a right to treat other people’s property as if it were your own.
Looks great. Bummer it’s not coming here.
It doesn’t matter whether it causes damage or not. It’s somebody else’s property, not your table. Put your shit on your own car if you need a place to set it down. Leave other people’s stuff alone. Period.
Accidents are frequently avoidable with just a little consideration and thought.
Is that not the very first thing I said about the incident?
The threshold for whether you should throw something at someone else’s property is not “Will this cause damage?” It’s simply not acceptable to throw things at other people’s property. Ever.
I’m not justifying anyone’s behavior here.
It’s still inconsiderate and unnecessary, even if it was unintentional. So, go blow a goat.
