Keep not knowing what you’re talking about. It’s OK. Most “car guys” are idiots. You fit right in.

I don’t own a Mini, you moron.

Whew, it’s a good thing they’re doing this. I mean, Texas is so tiny, and I hear they’ve been running out of developable land there for years.

Ah, OK. It makes more sense now that I know Toyota is also on-board. I couldn’t imagine Subaru going it alone on the BRZ. It just doesn’t seem to fit with their core product line, and it hasn’t been a runaway seller.

Dear other automakers. Using any kind of VW parts is a very bad idea if you want your cars to actually work.

I can respect a good hot take, even if I don’t agree with it.

Bricklin made one major mistake with the Yugo: He positioned it as a cheap car instead of a high-end European luxury import.

Lol. I own a Miata. I’ve driven several ITRs. The ITR would absolutely destroy a stock Miata on a track. And the ITR was faster around the track than the RSX-S. I remember. I was there when these things were new.

Definitely not faster around a track than a DC2R. Realtime Racing had to replace their ITRs with RSXs when these things came out. They ended up replacing the RSXs with TSXs as soon as they could, because despite the TSX’s significant weight disadvantage to the RSX, the TSX’s double-wishbone suspension was so much

Of all the cars I hate in the world, and there are a lot, this one wears the crown. I despise the RSX more than any other car ever made. This garbage chassis was a crushingly disappointing, completely inadequate replacement for the DC2 Integra. It replaced the Integra’s almost perfect double wishbone suspension with

I don’t consider the modern Hondas a return to form. I’ve been a hardcore Honda fan for decades, but these days I’d buy a Camry or Corolla over an Accord or Civic, because I don’t want turbocharged engines.

I am very sorry to hear that. I do hope that your situation improves. And whatever your new ride is, I hope it serves you well.

Sorry, man.

I would hardly call Jalopnik the extent of where I have seen people talking about this car.

Horseshit. The reaction to this car has been overwhelmingly negative. There are plenty of people who agree with every word I say about it.

I speak for everyone who wants a performance car that isn’t European and is reliable. Which, coincidentally, happens to cover more than a few folks who’ve bought Supras in the past.

If it were a pickup truck, this would be a country song.

Man, there is no way I’d fly in that kind of weather. I’d be hoping for a cancellation.

There’s no such thing as a good deal on something you don’t want.

I thought of that too. But when I ran it by my ex-Lexus-tech friend, he pointed out that the V35A-FTS is a small bore/long stroke design, and that a turbo 2GR would be more sporting. Frankly, I’d be fine with either.
