I wouldn’t expect it to be extremely common, but that’s not the point. This happening just a few times is already too many.

Yeah, we can’t really trust the industry to self-regulate. We’ve seen that it doesn’t. I can’t agree with your assessment. We need legislation.
Perhaps it is excessive. I tend to reach for the big gun first.
I’m not suggesting we guillotine them.
I’m starting to think that just “making things right” for the customer when incidences such as this occur is not enough. Because this shit keeps happening.
I’d have been perfectly fine with a car designed and built by Toyota, with a double-wishbone front end, and powered by a variant of the 2GR V6. And I don’t see why such a car would need to cost any more than something built under contract by BMW.
One crushing disappointment?
I find it interesting that on Earth we only experience a small part of the range of possible temperatures, yet within that range we see some pretty significant effects on matter. Like train tracks shrinking to the point of not working due to weather. Shit, I wonder what’s happening to the bridges.
I love Alfas. Someday I want to have one. They’re one of my favorite brands. I think the Giulia is a sweet car.
Ghosn should, but won’t, be a message to those in power: Get too powerful, and somebody will take you out. Especially if they don’t like what you’re doing with your power.
A ‘97 ITR in Florida? I wonder if that was one of the We-Todds from back in the day.
Eh, it’s expensive and will continue to get more expensive, because that’s what European sports cars that were expensive when new do after a couple of decades worth of crushing depreciation.
Actually, I kinda enjoy the drive between LA and Vegas. I guess I can see why some would find it boring, though.
It’s really frustrating.
You’d have to pay me $500 to haul that piece of shit to the junkyard. No way I’d spend any money on it at all. If I found a penny on the ground lying next to this thing, I would not use it to buy this car.
The thing is, by the time you get that beater Z3 running and road-legal, you’ll probably have close to $5,000 in it anyway. But it’ll still look like crap.
Really? I’m going to sound like an asshole here, but I live in the Conejo Valley after several years in Texas, and while I don’t find people as nosy here as I did in Texas, I’m still frequently annoyed by strangers making eye contact or trying to start conversations. I was kind of hoping for the stereotypical NYC…
Lol, I find it difficult to believe that enough people still carry cash to make this scam worthwhile. I guess it could be done with Venmo, but that would require a working phone, and if you have a working phone, you can contact someone you actually know for help.
Yeah, this person is a fucking dick.
Now that you mention it, most conventional video games don’t sound all that fun.
