I used to run around my yard, practicing Mad Martigan’s sword spins and such while humming this track out loud. Rest in peace, Mr. Horner.

My 7 year old daughter watched “Willow” with me this evening, too. Sad to hear he’s now gone.
Y’all are harsh. Lily’s goggle-eyed crush-infused musings brought a smile to my face.
The discovery? Momentous. Ancient stone monoliths, hunched into themselves, created untold ages ago by hands that assuredly weren’t human.
The all-female case is pointed out constantly because it differentiates the reboot from the original two movies. Also, because people are what they are, I’ve read mildly-exasperating comments (and articles) where this movie has become some sort of “our movie”, so perhaps some view a reboot as a victory in whatever…
Hrmm. There’s a lot of horrible shit in Game of Thrones. Shireen was fucking…
1984 Arnold is CGI the whole way. They also forgot to have “tire track” make-up on the Bill Paxton stand-in. I imagine they re-did the scene with the CGI Arnold because the film quality of 1984 would have been too glaring a comparison to the new digital-film-thing-quality scenes.

Each time I consider getting back into watching this show (I’ve missed two seasons now), Charlie Jane Anders shows me the error of my ways.
I did my best to speed-read the Wool omnibus in my local bookstore since the premise interested me, but the writing did not. Could anyone reply to this message, taking the time to lay out a spoiler synopsis of the plot? Google didn’t prove very successful last time I tried.
Gamers are such entitled shits.
I recall reading a short story about an elite group of soldiers that were literally impossible to defeat. They had the ability to travel a short distance back in time (only a short “distance” limited by the energy their body could use in the process).
What a complete goat-fuck.
