Interesting. I just saw this group do a live-action stunt show at MAGFest. Glad to see them get some broader recognition outside of the DC area.

Sometimes it's not necessarily the choices that the game presents, but the decision to keep going with the narrative.

I had totally forgotten about A-KO. I know what I'm rewatching this weekend!

I got a bootlegged VHS fansub of DYRL in high school and watched it without any previous knowledge of Macross or Robotech. I was completely confused and totally enthralled. It's such a wonderful, strange movie.

It's pretty fun to watch. Oswalt mentions in the book that he wrote the sketch and Fax Bahr (who worked on Hearts of Darkness) put it out after he had left the writing team. Here's a link: https://www.youtube.com/wat…

He brings up a few sketches that I still remember like Gump Fiction and A Pack of Gits Now (the Apocalypse Now/Rankin-Bass parody). I remember excitedly taping these on TV and watching them over and over.

"Fuck you, fuckball!"

Agreed. It just makes me feel so uncomfortable every time I watch it, but I can't look away. It reminds me of the creepy puppet shows that freaked me out as a kid (like Gigglesnort Hotel).

Didn't see The Nut Job, but the trailer seemed like a perfect example of Patton Oswalt's bit about punch-ups in animated films. https://www.youtube.com/wat…

Wish that had worked for The Wind Rises.

Tasha, I am hell of jealous you have an original comic signed by Berke Breathed. He's a personal hero. Here's a few of my autographs:

Remember that line from the first Michael Keaton version of Batman? Joker has released balloons full of deadly poison at his parade and Batman shows up in the Batwing and thwarts his plan by cutting the balloons free. Then Joker says, "He took my balloons. Why didn't somebody tell me he had one of those…. THINGS?!"

I imagine acting just like Chris Farley in that Paul McCartney sketch.

I'm close friends with a guy named Elliott. When I first met him, I did the most impulsive, jackass thing I could think of and gave a long, slow E.T. impression. "Eeeeeellllioooooootttt."

Can't wait to see how Dean Pelton dresses up for this announcement…

My wife and I were sitting at my parent's house one afternoon and I decided to put on Kawajiri's Ninja Scroll. My dad wandered in with his dinner and decided to watch with us. I burst into a cold sweat as the nudity and violence piled up. I think Dad threw in the towel when the snake lady had a python emerge from her

I started playing a rom of Monster Party a few months before this and love it. Thank God for save states is all I'll say - it's tough. I love coming back to games like that after years and seeing how I've changed as a gamer. What was once a challenge can just be infuriating - I realize that I don't have the same

I'd say Pet Sematary is as close to the original as possible. It also stands as one of my personal favorites and easily the most frightening.

Typically I hate when people complain about something missing from a list, but seriously: Where is Uncle Buck?! His first encounter with the kids is at breakfast (DJ'ing his own radio station, W-I-Don't Have to Work Today), where serves up some piping hot black coffee for his disaffected niece with a smile. His
