Sure.

Which is exactly why the game was divisive and disliked due to being, as the article mentions, extremely manipulative - contrary to the first game, which was universally loved. And that’s why the TV show need to fix what went wrong with the game.

Game of Thrones chopped off pengas and won Emmys, you think TLoU2 will be held back by a centimeter of fascia and a dream!?

If the second season does not have this scene which won tlou2 Game of The Year awards then the second season will not win any Emmys.  Just like the first season.

Microsoft has laid me off more than once. Have I ever gotten severance?

20% isn’t a great discount. You can get the PC version for over 50% off from various resellers: https://gg.deals/pack/hitman-trilogy/

Hey Zack, while it’s still (relatively) early in the year, can you rearrange this to be chronological rather than alphabetical? I think we’re in for a huge amount of layoffs this year and it may get very difficult to see which layoffs are new when one is added in to the list.

Not just platformed, I’m pretty sure they payed that clown.

Doesn’t stop them from writing a gazillion articles about whatsherface the e-girl streamer. I don’t see the issue with writing a single article about MatPat’s retirement, especially when this is the first I’m hearing of it. He’s a major video game Youtuber, and him retiring is as newsworthy as that chick.

So what I am guessing is that they couldn’t make fat peter work on the character rig without engine changes and thats expensive to do so they would either have to rig up a new character rig that could potentially have a different hitbox/physics or make something that works within that character rig instead.

Did I miss it or has Kotaku not covered MatPat’s retirement. For a site that seems to give us a ton of coverage of streamers who sell their bath water and vagina beer, it’s odd that a huge YouTube celeb stepping down didnt even warrant a short write up. Maybe he should have sold his bath water

We adapt.

It is unfortunate but it is also extremely cyclical and is just capitalism working as intended.

Anyone who thought 2024 was going to be better/less terrible than 2023 were kidding themselves. The layoffs will happen till late 2025 IMO. The correction in tech and gaming will have to happen and the excess pandemic hired staff will be gotten rid off as everyone scales back.

It’s Alan!

Just for the record, AI is an useful technology. I’ll agree that it is dangerous, and not just in the Skynet-scenario, but also because it will be used to replace human work by doing things worse but cheaper.

everything you are as a person, your thoughts and ideas are built off of your enivronment and experiences. every piece of art you view. every tutorial you follow is someone else’s art that you are referencing. it's how we as humans learn and teach.

My advice going into GotG is to treat it more like a party-based RPG than a shooter. Yes, your character has guns and you aim and shoot them but they’re more for finishing enemies off than anything else. The bulk of your damage comes from combos with the rest of the squad. Your team is your primary weapon, not your
