So, hypothetically, I could have created a garbage concept video, based on a nonsense idea built, in turn, on a Ponzi scheme, and gotten to live off of $40 million in funding for the past year and, at the end, not be required to show anything for it?
To preface, I’m absolutely not pro-mega mergers and in general feel like this (and most consolidation in general) is bad for the industry’s health and creativity.
Just came to say as a gay man who played and beat Gone Home, it was just OK and would have not gotten the accolades it did had it centered around a straight romance.
I’m just tired of every fucking game turning into Destiny.

If the community is toxic the discord will be too, no different to the forums. The only diff is that with official forums, actual useful info comes up in a google search (once you get past all the crappy gaming sites putting up junk pages to try and SEO a click out of you to serve you a thousand ads). So is the hate just simply because you play a police officer... I bet it would get rave reviews if you were a vigilante, or SOCOM...
aesthetics. to me this is so simple and the typical kotaku reader simply HAS to make it political.
Rules of engagement and the Geneva Convention would dictate that military forces should not be engaging in combat in close proximity to civilians and give civilians the ability to retreat from proximate combat zones whenever possible — this is why Russia’s behavior in Ukraine, particularly in regards to Mariupol, has…
The older I get the angrier at get at superhero movies and such like this where they are depicted destroying people’s vehicles. Like that’s some people’s entire livelyhoods and ability to get to work etc, and superdouche decides to just pick it up and chuck it at some supervillain that isn’t even phased by it and now…
