Yeah, I’m not doing a retinol right this sec — but for me, that kind of thing would be much better used at night, when I can top it with a richer heavier moisturizer (to combat any resulting dryness/irritation) that I could not / would not use during the day or under makeup.

Well now I need to try that weird peel thing from The Ordinary, apparently. (I like some of their vit C things, and the niacinamide + zinc is pretty legit.)

He was SO WEIRD in that! Everyone else is like “oooo, cast of underappreciated should-be A-listers!” Amanda Abbington! Frances O’Connor! Polly Walker! Zoe Wanamaker! And then there’s Piven, coming off like a sociopathic corporate exec who’s acting for the first time and was just given his lines like five minutes ago

If you’re actually prone to getting lipstick on your teeth (not everyone is!), try something that’s got a more clingy and less emollient/slippy formula : any liquid matte that dries down and “sets” (the vast majority of liquid mattes, like KVD, ColourPop Ultra Matte, Beauty Bakerie, etc, etc), a liquid matte or

ALAS, the elevator was shut down in the fall of last year [i.e. The Fall of Dire Misery] [PROPHETIC? I THINK YES] for repairs and won’t be open again until 2019. However, we can maybe bribe a chopper pilot? Heavy-duty drone operator? Catapult? I’m sure if we put our heads together we can get those two fucks up there.

Idk, can we do the movie version instead, where Bannon pushes him off the top of the Washington Monument?

Possibly, but I think in this case he’s definitely talking about the politicization of this kind of behavior, or opposition to it, on the set — not the usual “office politics” where you tiptoe around one inept asshole manager because the VP inexplicably likes them. Which, this isn’t even really “politicization,”

Uggghhhh this is AMAZING. Omg the color(s) and the texture(s)! I fucking love it when “fashion” crosses over into like “wearable architecture.”

Yeah, that’s the standard line for ignorant, intellectually lazy shitheads everywhere — “UGH, why does everything have to be so POLITICAL, everybody is SO PC these days, I was just trying to make a joke.” I don’t know much about him, but from my very loose general impression, I’m pretty surprised he’d take that

Not sure what you mean. He says he “joked” to her about wanting to “attack” her sexually, and then thrust her up against a wall. That’s not “joking,” that’s harassment. There’re probably plenty of tv show sets and plenty of workplaces with plenty of coworkers who would make jokes like that together — but unless you’re

Jeffrey. “Harassment” does not only mean “deliberately trying to injure/aggravate/make uncomfortable.” It also means “doing what the fuck ever you feel like doing to another person with no consideration for how they might feel about your actions.” You’re an actor, you’re presumably able to read people’s expressions

ALAS I’m not sure I can, since it was part of a severely discounted kit and not purchased on its own! But I can probably find someone who can use it...

YES! If you prefer a potted cream/gel formula used with a brush? ColourPop, no contest. It’s better than the comparable products from Tarte, Laura Mercier, Bobbi Brown, Nyx, and more. (And probably honestly better than my long-beloved YSL Effet Faux Cils.) Inglot’s AMC gel liner is also pretty good.

Yeah, I have one of the Luminous Cream formula (WAY too emollient and slippy, smears and transfers everywhere on me) and one of the old Matte Cream ones (which is really not very matte at all, and doesn’t stay on long). The Amuse Bouche are a totally different animal — they’re craaaaazy pigmented, and they feel lush

Yeah, I was thinking their foundations leaned a bit darker/warmer than average? But this stuff is like SO WHITE. Even on my extremely pale neck, it shows up clearly as a white streak. :\

I didn’t do VIB because honestly there just wasn’t anything I really wanted/needed? But I DID get that Tarte set of half a dozen self-selected products, and some of them are actually pretty good! However, I grabbed the lightest shade of the pressed powder foundation because I’m the first shade in both my current

TBH I have no idea what “sacha inchi oil” even is, or why it might be particularly desirable for hair? But that conditioner is seriously ACES. (And my hair is twice-bleached and dyed blue, so it’s pretty effing haggard.) I imagine sriracha would be ... fascinating, yet probably not effective?

Probably a .38 with a pink grip and a roll of “LIFE BEGINS AT CONCEPTION” stickers.

I just the other day picked up a bottle of their Sacha Inchi Oil conditioner and whoaaaaaa omfg I love it so much. (Also tried a Frankincense shampoo thing, which was not impressive, and I ended up grudgingly using it as body wash.)

Yeah I tried the blue one on my hand first, and “oooooooh!” But then “hrm this texture is familiar [reads ingredients] ... damn it.” Also, their pressed powder shadows are legit GREAT (I’ve only got eight so far, but that seems a good sample size to make the call). Also, may I introduce you to the wonder of Muji
