I think it’s more about squeezing lemon juice onto the TOP of the filled bowl before wrapping and sticking it in the fridge? Avocados (and apples, etc, etc) turn brown because of oxidation — limit its exposure to air via a cover and give the oxygen something more reactive for it to interact with (lemon juice;

I fucking hate bits of gratuitous romance in my fantasy-actiony shit (STOP KISSIN’ AND GET BACK TO THE SWORDFIGHTS), and I am not one to “’ship” characters. BUT. These little Tormund/Brienne interludes are, I swear, one of my favorite parts of the show now. Everything about this is DELIGHTFUL.

Yup, Elia Martell, whose two children by Rhaegar were murdered by The Mountain during Robert’s Rebellion. Rhaegar’s attentions to Lyanna Stark during a tournament and his subsequent alleged abduction of her led directly to Robert’s Rebellion and the fall of House Targaryen.

WHY DO YOU THINK THEY CALL IT A BURROW OWL?

YEAAAAH, MY PEOPLE.

Seconded. SO ANNOYINGLY EARNEST.

It’d be even funnier if they thought it meant the band members were all secretly CAA agents.

I LOVED the Dead Milkmen and still do. Saw them on my 18th birthday! Got Joe Jack’s autograph in lipliner on a napkin! He wrote “RED IS BLOOD - JOE JACK” Also whenever an ignorant fuckstick makes a homophobic comment within earshot, I like to yell “DO YOU KNOW WHAT THE QUEERS ARE DOING TO THE SOIL?”

Garbage holds up pretty damn well! And I still love the Cranberries.

AW, thank you! And I would happily do hair for free, or for wine. ALSO, I have a LOT of makeup to play in... so I mean on the off-chance that you live anywhere near south Alabama...

Chub face + stupid small nose + a lifetime of oily skin = yeah, I do look a fair bit younger than I am. But 52 is not old! At all! You’re a perfect full deck of cards, minus the jokers! Which is probably a good metaphor for life! :D

KINJA : Where every “improvement” is ... not.

And I’m almost 45! DO IIIIIIT.

WHOA, TEN HOURS I would lose my damn mind. :O It takes me about half an hour to apply bleach to roots, then I wait another 10-15 and wash it out, rest a few minutes, dry it, half an hour or so to apply dye(s), let that sit a couple hours, wash, condition, done. Again, it is NOT perfect and I’ve got a lot of striations

Oh wow that’s a GREAT color on you! I kinda regret dyeing mine a mid/darkish shade to start with bc now it’s got too much old pigment buildup to go really light and bright ... unless I bleach it ALL again. Which I cannot, unless I also cut it all off. SADNESS.

OOOO, I haven’t tried the Aveda ones! I used ManicPanic for a long time, as they’re easy to get and they come in a ton of shades. BUT, lately I’ve been using One N Only Perfect Intensity Argan Oil Whatever, and theirs seem to last longer, fade less, and I have less tranfer to sheets etc than with MP blues. After I

LOVE IT. So bright! I love the slight violet tint! (Those violet-blues seem to fade more prettily for me that indigo-leaning blues, which go a little greener than I like, esp since I don’t bleach mine super light and it always has a lot of orange in it still.)

No man, for real, I CANNOT with the rabid hair-trend-following. Like if you’re willing to go in for all that work and all that damage, why would you want the exact same color and exact same cut as twelve million other people on Instagram?

Because grey or greyed-out tones are fun and interesting and different! BUT they’re also a lot easier to work with, makeup- and wardrobe-wise than, like, flaming bright magenta or lime green. Also I find greyish blues and purples have a pretty manageable and non-horrifying fading process in between dye-jobs.

YEAAAAAH!
