I were mostly jesting. As I hear arguments like that and ”Hey, they can’t hurt anyone because they are not real!” all the time.

It’s about one set per 3 months. That’s more or less been the norm forever. Doesn’t bother me because I draft and play eternal formats. 3 months is plenty for a draft environment to get stale.
When I was younger I thought Penance’s design was pretty cool. Looking back I wonder why on earth Marvel did this to the character - making him Penance that is.
Oh man. When his entire suit was “cutting”.
From what i’ve read about him, Richard Harris, like Alec Guinness, was kind of a sour puss.

Thanks for being the other person who doesn’t like Madagascar.
parents still will take their kids to any crap.
Uh, pregnancies are reduced by 92% by just not thinking about sex, and 124% by keeping your legs closed. A couple of studies show that when clutching a bible tight enough to make the ink bleed from the pages onto your hands/clothing, that pregnancy rate is reduced by almost 600%.
The trailer looked awful. And not just boring or unenticing - but repulsive and horrible.
I have previously thought, “this is like a drunk retelling of Batman stories” when watching the show. But there feels like there’s this fundamental creative uncertainty about the show, what it’s supposed to be, which I suppose is a reflection, at least in part, of differing notions from the various people who work on…
I’m not sure it’s the parents saying “MY GOD. BRAYEDEN HAS TO SEE THIS” as much as it’s them breaking down after Brayeden begs them to see it 500 times an hour for two and a half weeks.
Here’s the thing, I could get behind the concept. A parent tries to dance around where babies come from...and things spiral out of control as the kid continues to push for more and more details they aren’t prepared (or ready) to provide.
You leave Grandpa Og out of this. That man sacrificed his left leg to the sabretooth so that you ungrateful kids could eat. Is it too much to ask for a little quiet time in front of the wall?
Does “one retailer said” settle the issue? It seems like it is used to establish whatever point the retailer said as fact without any context as to who the retailer is or why that person is more believable.
It says a lot about the state of the world if you don’t understand any of the how’s or why’s and just want to say “everything I dislike is because of Nazis with magic powers.”
I hear this argument often, but here’s the big problem with it; when 95% of shows had a white male as the main character (or characters), did viewers tire of those “cookie cutter” leads? The idea that white people are all interesting and different while PoCs are primarily defined by the color of their skin is…
It is ironic that DC have been killing them in comics but falling behind on the big screen.
Myself, I’ll keep buying Squirrel Girl and Miss Marvel and Gwenpool and USAvengers and Sam Wilson: Captain America. If you drop them, Marvel, I won’t be buying new books instead. I’ll just drop you.
If you like all those books — which I also quite like — might I also suggest BLACK PANTHER and OCCUPY AVENGERS?
