Maybe it's because I'm not as svelte as I'd like to be, but I find the prospect of changing in an airplane bathroom baffling.

As someone who just flew to Europe and back (and who is an American)—I refuse to dress like a schlub in the airport and perpetuate the American stereotype. That said, considering I'm about to fly for nine or ten hours, you bet your butt that I have an extra set of super comfy schlubby clothing to change into once

Right. If we were in a country that mandates you declare a religion on your ID, like Egypt, then ok, this sort of thing makes sense I guess. But nothing on your ID shows your religion, so who the fuck cares? Ok, a Muslim woman can wear a headscarf in her photo? Great, how does that have a negative impact on my atheist

I'm all for equality between all of us, regardless of beliefs, but this? Eh. It doesn't hurt me that a Muslim woman can wear a headscarf in an ID. Or any other religion that requires hair covers for that matter.

I'm pretty strongly anti-religion in a lot of ways. At the very least, you can say I'm an atheist (because that's true).

Very touching, though I must confess that my biggest take away from this story is that Alaia Baldwin appears to have grown up to become a lovely young woman despite her father's big box of crazy. This gives me hope for Kirk Cameron's children.

This is some Betty and Veronica shit, and, for once, I'm rooting for Betty.

This is a two-bird-one-stone deal and I'm impressed. I'll always remember my French grandmother not understanding why ultra violence in movies was so ok while sex was completely taboo, particularly in NA...

I don't mean to get all after-school special up in here...but when I see kids today doing such cool things and thinking in such large-minded ways...I just...maybe things really could slowly but surely get better in this world? I mean, this may seem little, but teenagers using their creativity to make the world

"SHE WILL ATTRACT BEARS." That pretty much nails the absurd fear behind the shame we attach to being on our periods, doesn't it?

That must make their students of color feel so supported. Way to be, teachers. Thanks for making the rest of us look bad.

I watch The Today Show for Savannah. I love her.

Does anybody actually like Matt Lauer? Because you'd think that since they go out of their way to keep him at the show. Yet I've never heard anyone speaking approvingly of him. This could be because I live outside the US and my main source of popular opinion is the media and blogs like this but still...who has heard

ME TOO. He's my happy little "OH WELL IDK WHATCHA GONNA DO?" friend.

I <3 the shrug!

I think it's like a crying dude who throwing his arms around? I do not see dick though. But I am not an expert on hidden dick.

Oh dear. I can't bring myself to click that show pending button now. Thanks for the warning!

Who?

I totally agree with you about the frankly excessive female nudity on the show, but this really is one scene where Cersei has to be naked. It's crucial. It's absolutely critical to the plot that she's undressed in this very specific way. If they were only allowed one nude scene in the entire series, it would need to
