Totally agree. When I was growing up, I was always miffed about my mom missing events like that, but now that I'm older I appreciate how badass my mom was/is (not the CEO of a company, but still pretty damn badass). She's the first and only in her immediate family to go to college, and I am so proud of what she's done…
