There are so many people who do it awkwardly to where it’s an inconvenience and/or there’s some jackass who is doing it fishing for thank yous. That's really good to know. I've been marking the items in the Workbench and it places a magnifying glass next to the item I'm low on so I can just glance and know that item can be broken down into the part I need.

Dude this thing tears bosses a new one. It also hits its target faster than a rocket launcher, not to mention you don’t have to worry about it exploding in your face. It really shines when your fireteam uses it.
