I sincerely hope that Korra does recover and kick Kuivra's ass, but it's hard to say that she will be able to in the few short episodes that are left in the series unless they do another time lapse (maybe a couple of months) to get Korra back in the groove of things.

I'm not sure that I like all of the Korra characterization critiques. She's just getting back into the world and honestly trying to get a feel for both sides before making a decision. It has taken Bolin quite a while to discover Kuvira's motives so please give Korra one episode to do the same.
