That line as its written is incredibly cheesy, but the actor absolutely freaking sold it and made it menacing. He truly is doing a great job, I think I actually like him better than reverse flash (or at least non-Wells Reverse Flash)

Yah I don't know why they didn't just catch him during the final fight and have the team do the good old-fashioned remove the mask right away

Wait that's the actor's personality you think? Because I thought he was pretty good in season 1, didn't seem smug or rude at all to me. Season 2 om the other hand

Was thinking the same thing in regards to OUAT. Why do I even watch that show still

Nothing indicates they didn't tell gideon, if anything rip will probably use some override code only he knows to take control of gideon and the ship

He really is, isn't he? The bit at the end of this episode where he talked to Gideon was so creepy and menacing that it put the entirety of the vandal savage performance to shame.

The Rival? You mean edgy Halloween costume Flash

And right after going off on Wally for no reason too…like he's clearly panicking why the hell would the team believe he knows what he is doing

Just skip season 1, it's not worth anything lol

Man this was one of the most frustrating hours of television I've ever watched. Did every character take stupid pills this episode? For me it's not the secret-keeping that is the big problem with the flash, because the secret-keeping is just a symptom of a larger problem…that EVERY SINGLE bit of conflict in this show

I don't remember Winns reaction being that bad last season he pretty much just spent one episode sulking and then decided to stop moping and just be friends. I thought they actually handled it well

I'm not sure she said a single word to him the whole scene actually, he basically talked himself out of actually asking her out by assuming she wasn't interested. It's very much still up in the air, but at the same time I get the vibe that if they were going to go down the romantic path they would've done it in that

Eh, I'm a bit tired of every male character on the show developing an interest in Kara and then getting turned down. First it was Winn, then James, and now it's Mon-El. They need to either have her reciprocate the feelings of the next guy pining after her and establish a relationship or just don't have the male

This has to be one of my least favorite episodes of the show so far. The villians plot was confusing and underdeveloped, Kara's anxiety about Livewire didnt make sense because Livewire isnt as intimidating of a nemesis as the writers want her to be, and the focus on the Guardian plotline does the episode no favors.

The constant usage of the whiteboard and other visual aids to explain any relatively complicated sci-fi concepts is a going joke on the show at this point. The most laughable example was earlier this season when they stopped an explanation of how the future works like 3 times to set up dominoes

I actually do wish the show would focus more on his scientific side and his job as a CSI. Like the only time I ever felt the fact that he's CSI was actually important was when he appeared on arrow before becoming the flash

Poor Patty. Barry was at peak terribleness with the way he handled that relationship

I think the writers can be forgiven for not expecting a weird audience member to calculate that though

I'm getting real tired of the Barry and iris in their apartment being romantic scenes. None of them go anywhere and a part of me would rather they just kill off iris than make me watch more of those scenes

Yah that's the real problem with it. Barry's flaws and dumb decisions are only occasionally criticized, and when they are the arguments from them are resolved in an episodes time. And when he is not being criticized the characters are lobbing praise at Barry and treating him like the team leader when most of the time
