Christmas songs by rock bands kinda scare me. Like why do they all seem to have a Christmasy sound? Even the Billy Squire and Tom Petty songs. What is their secret?? Or is it an illusion because of their lyrical content?

The gameshow episode is fucking amazing.
"I believe it was Benjamin Franklin who said, 'You have reached the end of your free trial membership at Benjamin-Franklin-Quotes.com.'"
"Hey, theys throwin' robots!"
"He's disrespectin' us. Shut up you face!"
I really hoped they were going to have Peridot in a prison somewhere in their house, making evil nerdy comments whenever the gems walked by.
You are technically correct, but I don't think rigorous grammar rules should necessarily apply here.
That's right I think. Football announcers talk that way sometimes, like, "well can an injured Peyton Manning still win this game?" etc. You are full of wisdom, Bird Person.
I LOVED this episode, I agree with the A- only because it took BoJack way too long to realize the self-help tapes were counterproductive, and it only happened because his mom randomly happened to call at the right time. Nonetheless, the story was very moving so maybe it was all for the best. Princess Carolyn and Mr.…
I dunno if this counts, but I hate "the Eagles" band and football team with equal vigor, and feel obliged to mention this whenever the topic of eagles of any kind comes up. Otherwise I'd feel like I let one of them off the hook.
This is why I like the AV Club, because it forces everyone to identify sarcasm based on nothing else but the absurdity of the statement itself. It often leads to arguments about who's fault it was that the sarcasm wasn't recognized, which I invariably enjoy reading.
I'd like to nominate Teen Titans Go and Steven Universe for this award. Previous holders should include Space Ghost. I'll have to get back to you on Golan the Insatiable next time I am stoned.
You are definitely right, which is why I try to avoid a yes/no distinction for borderline people. My sort of theory is that there are a lot more undiscovered mental conditions that people have which hamper social interaction in different ways. I knew a guy who had trouble fitting in for various reasons, among other…
Magery is basically their version of O'Neal too, albeit with a different comedic formula. The comments are funny but usually you'll be too late for anyone to read yours.
I've heard of an encouraging review, but THIS is RIDICULOUS!
Yea like @Mr.ImMyOwnGrandfather said, you have to look for kinda more subtle characteristics, and definitely learned behavior plays a big role in shaping a person's behavior. Like I can pick up on most obvious social cues just from experience. And I know people who can't but definitely aren't on the spectrum (at least…
IF YOU NEED A-GREAT ACT-OR, YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT GUUUUYYYYYYYYYYYY
You guys know more about this than I, so sorry if I've maligned Superman at all, but it's more that I dislike the idea of his character. Not to mention, the lack of effort put into his secret identity makes the story generally appear lazy to me.
I can't really imagine Pearl's issues being related to autism, she is far too comfortable expressing her feelings. I am not neurotypical and while I can sort of relate to her tunnel vision at times, there is too much about her character that seems socially adept, relatively speaking.
It reminded me of a conversation I've had with a few people about why I hate Superman. He is basically Mayor Dewey's version of a protagonist. Heroes like Batman are real people with strengths and weaknesses and make for a much more interesting story.
Not only did I enjoy it immensely, but I thought the backstory nod with the Gems saving William Dewey was a pretty great "twist" or whatever you want to call it. That the climax of the episode was delivered with such terrible acting made it extra special for me. Have another A, Historical Friction.
