I bought a very expensive wool trench coat online (for myself, for my birthday) after I was looking at one, wishing and hoping, like, what if I was such a baller that I could buy that?, and then it randomly went on sale, making it only sort of ridiciulously expensive. I haven't bought a wool dressy coat in 10 years

feel ya on the I've been reading X forever, and shall be reading X forever

you can do it! I mean, obviously. if you are doing 9.2, you are going to crush 10.

the only drawback to those shoes is that you'll be labeled a hipster.

it's been freezing here in Seattle (every morning starts with a cold fog) and everyone feels like they are never ever going to get warm, like, ever again. I've been combatting it with my new blazer.

second the blazers. with a manly scarf. and then you can wear the scarf with your t shirt for when your neck is cold but your arms are warm. part of this is real, part is kidding.

taupe. to clarify, it's just so smooth and buttery. I hear your arguments against but I feel they are misguided.

that's great, MNIR
yoga is awesome. I haven't done an actual class since I had kids, because of the time factor, but it's great in so many ways. I would imagine being the only guy in class would be just fine. I used to go to classes and only one guy would show up, and I never thought it was weird.

doing the seattle half in early december if the running gods are good.

I don't watch that show but I just wanted to say hi (cuz I've been gone a while)and I <3 your avatar. and there goes my resolve not to listen to QOTSA today.

OHHHHHHHH

munro. I feel bad for having only read two of her collections, given how much I liked them.

point: if any show could do it, it would be this one
counterpoint: if that was the twist that improved the storyline, hehhhhh.

that is an excellent point.

as a treasurer of civility, I'm going to upvote you in lieu of downvoting you.

that's good because last week I clearly prohibited you from diagramming sex acts

I chuckled reflexively, but I didn't quite get that. in my experience, hipster dudes rock tight clothes. and bless them for that (for the most part). I guess a peacoat over skinny jeans is hipster-consistent.
on the other hand, if a man in a peacoat is wrong, I don't want to be right.

dear god

yay Bossypants FTW but yeah, this is a bummer.
