they were going to cut away from the floor demons for a commercial, than come back at the floor demons upside-down.

He-Man is probably the one I watched the most, of those three, as a kid, and I remember very little concrete about it. been thinking about a GI Joe watch, as I only watched it intermittently and missed out on the story arcs (which I have been told are present.)

I did not wake up this morning expecting to think about that again today. no I did not.

you know, I don't think so.

"not swords like babies like"

he's singlehandedly set the pro-facial-hair AVC lobby forward about 50 years.  I went from vaguely anti- to card-carrying member in the course of two weeks.

…but WITH scorpions.

keep on learnin' us, lupin

agreed about the floor demons. demons should come out of the sky or midair. that's just basic demon science.

overthinking it further, I'm going to go with: he's super impressed with today's modern ladies, and their skills with weapons. I mean, that's hot; who could resist that. also, in re: Jenny, he's shown that he will fight on principle, and that seems her MO as well. a meeting of the freedom-fightin minds.

perhaps his clothing is a commentary on our disposable society.  they just made things better, back in the day.  such as tunics that last 200 years.

100% of ultrafangirls agree.

ok, you got me. I would freak out.

Ah the banality of evil.

while the demons were buffy esque (this from a superfan) I felt they were a step down from the genuinely elegant monsters of previous weeks.

I am also confused by the wife's role in all this.  and yes, they are going to have to restrain tom mison in some way if there is going to be a coherent plot.  I'm deadly serious….restrain. *loses train of thought*

1a.  the music is … heavy. and not in a good way.  I think I yelled, "jesus, shut up" at one point when the demons were coming out of the floor and it was getting ultra ponderous.

the final beatdown/demons on the floor was kind of shitty. couldn't tell who was hitting whom.  which is convenient when only bad guys are dying, but seemed like a missed sweet H2H opportunity. If they nail more fight scenes like the pilot, my grade will go up half a letter.

I'm down with jenny because I buy that her main henchman in town is a random greasy bartender.  was … was a random greasy bartender.

I'm going with neither, based on shitty floor demons, but closer to the latter.
