I wish they'd be quicker to try and market this stuff sometimes. I know there are a lot of hurdles to jump, but it sucks that they don't sound too eager to move forward with real-world use

@squishyalt: I'd assume its not more efficient because a lot of the heat from the fire is just going into the room . Its still efficient enough to power itself, but there's so much energy being put out by the flame, that most of it is wasted

that does NOT seem like a bargain. I bought a battery (just a battery , no case or anything) for my old samsung Eternity and it was 6 dollars online.

What I don't understand, is , HOW is this fanless? its just got an internal fan/impeller type thing, right? Sure, its safer, but it'll still sound a bit like a fan, and take up about as much space as a fan, and probably not be quite as efficient as a fan at moving air... and its almost 400 dollars more than a fan. it…
