@GitEmDoneSteveDave: like a gallon or something? You've got a good point (assuming you were trying to make one) . From what i remember, oil sheen only happens when you have a thin film. A bucket of oil doesn't produce a sheen, but put a drop of gasoline in a puddle, and bam!

@A.Jaswal: I would compare it more to putting windows 7 on a 3 year old laptop (which I did without any issues) . Its not unbearable on mine. My ipod has been buggy lately, but it had no problem multitasking 3 apps at once after I jailbroke it.
