@nachobel TOTORO!: lol, i dont care if that was supposed to be an insult or not... love the avatar. That's gotta be one of my favorite movies...

@swampthing: i dont care what awards he won, if you're photojournalist of the year, I expect better from you than a collection of iphone photos in a tacky polaroid frame... lol. I'm not saying he's a bad photographer, or that i don't take him seriously (although the polaroid frame is usually reserved for hipsters and

@nachobel TOTORO!: i'm saying that ANY compact or full-size digital or film camera will still give you better quality images in terms of signal-vs.-noise ratio, color reproduction, white balance, lens quality, and in most cases, resolution. I still stand by my original comment.

@swampthing: and honestly, I have a hard time taking anyone who uses a polaroid effect on their photos seriously as a photographer...

@swampthing: now i have to tell YOU to read. read what I just said. i'm saying that ANY compact or full-size digital or film camera will still give you better quality images in terms of signal-vs.-noise ratio, color reproduction, white balance, lens quality, and in most cases, resolution. @AwesomeSquad: ugh.... am i going to have to give the same responce to everyone now? I DID READ IT. (copied and pasted) "(...)professional equipment too, of course. But to capture those moments of daily life, he also packed his iPhone in his flak(....)" I just think that if you're going to photograph something, and

@swampthing: yes. I read. "(...)professional equipment too, of course. But to capture those moments of daily life, he also packed his iPhone in his flak(....)" I just think that if you're going to photograph something, and you have the resources, then do it right. He got some great images i'm sure (i didn't actually

@someToast: yeah, I mean why wasn't he using a real camera for THIS stuff? there are plenty of compact cameras that take better pictures than ANY cell phone

@RainyDayInterns: but the camera matters when you're an AP photographer... well, usually... if it had something to do with size, a leica would have worked... just seems weird that he wouldnt at least use something with better resolution instead of using a tacky polaroid app on low quality photos...

@Xeno: It wont... it might become apple's business model, but i dont think we'll stop creating. or at least I hope not

this is starting to get annoying... When this thing was first introduced, there were a LOT of pissed off people complaining about a lack of features. Now everyones seemingly forgotten all about that and preordered theirs...

why wasnt this AP Photographer using a real camera?

whats the point in having reviews for this thing at all? You like the iphone? Then you're probably going to like this thing... especially if you like the iphone with a big screen. review. done.

@atrus123: a few drops of hydrochloric acid in her shower head'll do the trick. you're welcome

I want to know who's buying all the ipads. Nobody on here seemed to want the first version...

@Go Vols!: I dont know... I think the best part about windows in general is that it's NOT limited to a single device. Just like i'd rather have my homebuilt computer that fits ME, i'd rather have a phone that I choose than one that microsoft told me I had to use.
