A couple of things from an VW guy - if your oil cap doesn´t have the rubber ring inside they tend to vibrate loose and oil will come out - it may not have blown off.

Nice job Doug - truly enjoying my Prius for what it is - point A to point B cheaply.

I was thinking the other day if electric cars were fashioned after a model like this people would throw money at them. Electrics, as they are now, are a city car - much like this. Who needs a 4 door or larger for city driving only? More range (due to weight reduction), cheaper to build/buy... ect.
