Do you understand that they do this *when they are up*? Have you ever watched their actual games? The whole thing about their offense is lots of short, easy passes for Brady early. They get up, they run the ball once that happens to sit on the lead.

This take is old and backwards. The Patriots, for one, have made a living off of doing the exact opposite. They go short passes heavy early and often, and really only stop to run the ball once they're ahead enough.
Drew’s wikipedia page suggested he taped a segment as part of It Gets Better in 2010, a generally pro-LGBTQ and anti-bullying campaign. I’m not seeing any pro-gay stuff here (or even anything to have it associated with the campaign in question), but it’s worth adding to the record:
Between her, Sloane Stephens, Madison Keys, and Taylor Townsend (I'm sure I'm missing some, but those are all recentish stories) it sure seems like there's a solid surge of young women's talent coming from the US. I would imagine Serena has a lot to do with that.
If the goal was just making contact I would agree MLB is the correct answer. But considering how good MLB defenses are, and that for sure even if you make contact you wouldn’t make *hard* contact?
I can’t imagine being able to hold onto that after something like this. Believing there’s a plan when something this awful happens to you, how do you stop yourself from thinking that somehow this is punishment for something? I’m not saying he’s going to give up religion (his post indicates he keeps it) but it’s just…
Here’s the tricky question though... how do you draw the line here? This is a rare play that occasionally sucks to happen. But to have the rule go the other way, where going out of bounds means the runners don’t advance... that would mean every ball hit to the outfield with runners in tagging position would end with…
The position is a difference maker. There are guys that play QB into their late 30s, Brady is in his 40s. Not so much with tight ends, who do a lot of blocking and getting hit over the middle by linebackers/safeties. Gronkowski has already been through so many injuries, it’s not surprising he’s beat up.
To your first: the point of the line in the article is not about his regular season mediocrity. The whole point is that Nagy is obsessing over one particular kick, which in particular wasn’t Parkey’s fault. You’re trying to widen this to something else, putting yourself on the side of a particularly addled coach.…
Him being a mediocre kicker in the regular season has nothing to do with the double doink. Which was tipped, which was the point of that part of the article.
I know they're less relevant than Miami/Cleveland because they didnt have LeBron, but the Warriors also did/still do this. It was Bogut, then Zaza, and then Looney/Bell/Cousins last year. I bet Davis also feels as though the long term wear and tear is likely to be worse at the 5, so wants to limit his minutes there.
Jervis Cottonbelly is one of the best gimmicks on the planet. His mask is so good!
“ more quarterbacks and coaches bring the clap with them to the pros—but the process of getting there isn’t going to be painless.”
I was expecting this to be a gif of Gruden's face being turned more and more red with every article and I was immensely disappointed.
Eh, those calls are likely a lot closer than they look. That camera angle is notably off center
I feel bad for Goodrum there. He looks to be contemplating his life choices, sitting on the track there. Also that's 100% Mixon's fault.
They have 5 starters under 26 years old right now (Borucki on the IL), and two more guys on the 40 in AAA. But the beat of them are Pearson and Kay, who are at AAA and AA respectively. They should be up midseason next year. In the mean time, essentially the rest of this year, spring training and the first half of next…
I like cutthroat kitchen, because it’s just weird and silly to watch people try to cook on crooked grills or in sumo outfits. Or is it something else that bothers you?
I imagine it has to be awkward serving off a mound when you've served off flat ground your whole life
When the previous record, vs the 1956 KC Athletics, was set the AL had 8 teams and only played AL teams in the regular season. Meaning that came in 20-25 games.
