It had to end sometime. I’m not too mad, it’s been a really fun ride and I will remember these games as a fan for the rest of my life.

Full disclosure, I’m an Indians fan who hates Wahoo and has a 1895 Spiders jersey as a protest, but you would be insane to think the players don’t love Wahoo. They choose to wear the Navy uniforms with two wahoos over the road grey or home navy look with the C logo hats. Trevor Bauer is a Trump supporter.

I doubt it’s the former, as modern day racists mostly like to claim they’re not racist, and/or that the real problem is “reverse racism”. But from the photo it does appear that it was three white folk holding the sign.

I’m so mad at Adam Engel for breaking up Carlos Carrasco’s bid for a Maddux with 2 outs in the 9th.

Bob Sura

They’re both coming up short to Abraham Almonte (according to Statcast):

1) I don’t care if it was for the players actually. I really can’t be concerned about players getting benefits in the side when they aren’t getting paid actual money.

The Cavs were already at 15 players, so now they’ll have to cut 2 of their rostered guys. Which will likely be projects Edy Tavares and Kay Felder. Which is fine, although I quite liked seeing 5'8 Kay Fedler weaving his way around last year. He probably won’t catch on anywhere outside of the d league.

The Indians are pretty snakebit with injuries as of late. Losing Tomlin wasn’t a big deal, but Kluber got hurt his last start, both of their starting corner OF are on the DL and now Miller and Santana. Luckily the Central is trash.

This game was really fun to watch. Some other highlights included:

This is one of those situations where I assume my ignorance of soccer means I’ve missed something. KFC refers to something else.... right? A player? An inside joke of some sort?

The most likely to move would probably be Avila. He’s a one year rental, where Fulmer should be close to untouchable and Cabrera/Verlander would be too old with too much money remaining to be of much interest to any team.

There’s a way to trick the motion controls into thinking you’re taking long exaggerated songs when you’re actually just doing a quick wrist flick. So likely what they’re actually doing is waggling their hands around like they’re maaturbating.

Your post literally states that Calvin Johnson is *the reason* that Detroit wasn’t going anywhere. You are moving goalposts here, and it’s plainly obvious.

Here is why your take sucks. The central premise is that Calvin Johnson made some mistakes, and is therefore “part of the reason they lost”.

This trade also works if you swap Korver for Frye, or just add Channing Frye. And obviously you throw in a boatload of picks.

It’s not Marchman writing this, hence no disclaimer

As a Cleveland fan I agree with the larger point that Olynyk and Delly are goons, and that they’re specifically operating within a void in the rules. Something ought to be done about that.

I would actually question that. Bautista was the better player the last 8 years or so. But he’s 36 now, coming off a down year, and has always had some questionable home/away splits. Trumbo is 31 and just had a really good season. For 2017, I don’t think it’s clear cut one will be better than the other.
