To be fair, Fox's problem doesn't seem to be that Sam is black, but that the super-villain Sam fights says some anti-immigrant things.

I hate to say it, 'cause I love Spider-Man, but Iron Man may well be the most popular hero in Marvel's stable right now, which puts him at 3-4 overall.
If anyone can figure out what Mark Millar's politics are, they should let him know. For something that is entirely central to almost all of his work, it's pretty muddled.
But if a lot of fans really disliked Bendis to the tune of not buying his books, he'd stop getting plum assignments.
It's also pretty frustrating when read on Marvel Unlimited.
And the Quake/Hill/Jessica Jones stuff- as well as his fascination with Spider-Woman and Kitty Pryde- speak well of his instincts for diversity, even though he can be a little cloying about that in the plot.
And frankly, even Spidey has pared down to 1 primary book. You want to know what Peter Parker's up to these days? All you need is Amazing Spider-Man. All the ancillary titles are for spin-off characters or flashbacks or alternate realities or whatever.
I tried to do that one, too, but couldn't finish the book in time.
I dunno, going through the game to catalog every glitch seems more sour, frankly.
Ugh, all kidding, and totally-justified Republican clowning aside, that shot-put thing sounds horrific.
Trump and Cruz are basically the Heath Ledger Joker of politics: some men just want to watch the world burn. So it makes sense to me!
This is pretty much exactly right. There is a LOT of shit to do in a campaign. There is incredibly little thought put into what music plays at all, much less the rights to it. They just hope no one notices. And frankly, these C&Ds are so common, I doubt many people do.
Stringer Bell is an *amazing* role, but given The Wire's ratings, I wouldn't consider it much of a distraction.
I dunno, I think that's legit. For one thing, there's no shortage of handsome British actors between the ages of 30 and, I dunno, dead.
Let me know when you're actually gonna discuss something an not just take credit for getting people on a pop culture website to talk about pop culture.
Let me know when you actually want to defend your point, not just engage in 1992's laziest ad hominem
Let me know when you want to engage with what I've actually argued. I find the "YOU'RE the REAL RACIST!" game terribly boring.
Idris Elba as Bond would still be awesome.
So, because the people who complained about that casting choice might have been stupid, you're reserving the right to be just as stupid? OK, glad we got that out in the open.
"so I'll be here, poking you where it hurts, your idiotic ideologies."
"I want characters to be portrayed as their creators intended. Be they white, black, asian, trans, or whatever else."
