I don’t know if it has been suggested, but, there is an option to rollback the update to 7 again. I did this after waking up to 10 last Wednesday as well.

Sorry, just saw this. The 4.2 is what the CPU would top out at if needed. The idle sits at 3.3 Ghz. That’s the power of overclocking, getting more out of what you paid for but opting for the cheaper chip. Anywho, good luck with your build!

I understand. I’m still going with a o’clocked 2500k at 4.2. Feel the urge to upgrade but really no need. I lucked out.

Woah, woah....if you’re just gaming the i5 is all you need. Overclocking is what you need in the end. Don’t go chasing waterfalls...
