While I do think the PS4 will be a success, let's not forget that launches mean little. The 360 launched a year ahead of the PS3 at a far more attractive price, and the PS3 still outsold it.

Remote Play predates the WiiU, Sony did it first.

uuuh, back in 1990's this was false. when the PS1 came out it was steps above PC gaming as far as graphics were concerned

... and then sell it for $2,500 a pop.

Umm, no. Piracy can happen when a game does not have a demo, when a games demo isn't long enough, game is really sold anymore or is extremely hard to find, game is too expensive, game is region locked, and many other reasons...

Patricia, I'm a fan of VICE magazine and found this doc interesting but why's this even on Kotaku? As far as I'm aware Marjuana subculture has absolutely nothing to do with gaming culture so what gives?

It looks like something went wrong when i was editing my post and id disappeared from this discussion and now it's just on my burner acc. unassociated with anything, sorry if it happen to be doublepost:

Exactly. The problem i have with most articles about FF franchise is that people tend to somewhat totally forget what

People are DEFINITELY too hard on the Final Fantasy brand. It's not 'dying,' its not really 'in danger' - frankly, it's coping better than most long-term Japanese franchises struggling to keep up with new technology and changing fan demands.

Agreed that it's mainly a combination of nostalgia and its longevity that's killing Final Fantasy. After 15 games, people all want different things, including its own development crew. Some people want to make sure that we bring back old elements, others want to innovate and embed new concepts, etc, etc. That's not an

"I dunno. Personally I think the gaming public as a whole is a little too hard on the brand."

I agree with that so much. It's like, they screwed up a bit with FFXIII and somehow the franchise is sullied as a whole for it. Can a franchise not have missteps? From experience, FFXIV:ARR is amazingly awesome and FFXV looks

I gotta say, I wish the devs had decided to go the direction they did with 12. The game was a breath of fresh air for jrpg mechanics. Reverting back to some xenogears/digital devil saga nonsense like they did for 13 was really disappointing.

I've never had texture loading issues on the Wii U version of ME3, which surpsised me because it's Unreal Engine 3 and that ALWAYS had texture loading issues. Also, are people still trying to pretend that the Wii U version of Blops 2 is not the best one? It may not have as many players, but it's visually superior and

If it aint a D cup and jiggleh IDK if I can take it seriously as a lead chest.

I can't tell from the images....how much boob jiggle does she bring to the table?

I am on 241 also! How crazy hard was 213? I almost quit on that level.

What you meant to say was "Because Nintendo."

I assume that they allow you to play the game with the standard set of characters and without buying all the toys as well. I would rather play the game with the characters they decided to go with the levels. I'm an Angry birds purist. I never use any of those power ups they added into all the games either. Don't even

Ah, anti-piracy measures. Hurting legitimate customers since its inception, and helping no one in the process.

Hell i'd go farther then "Not bad". This is a pretty damn good blend of WoW, Guild Wars 2, FFXI, Ultima. If anything Yoshida has shown that he "gets" MMO's and why the most successful ones were in fact successful. I'm not saying it will be a WoW killer but it will be a damn good effort(after an abysmal 1st attempt).
