Vastly prefer it using AA batteries than having an internal one. There is just no benefit to internal ones.

Just buy rechargeable AAs. Amazon or IKEA have fantastic ones at low prices. You can then use them in whatever you want but not send them off to landfill when their charge runs out.

I prefer having the option to swap batteries out. My ps3 controller doesn’t hold a charge anymore and my ps4 controller lasts like 5-6 hours. 

Buy rechargeable AAs and get over yourself (all xbox AA haters/idiots). You can buy the rechargeable pack (as mentioned in the article) or better yet use standard rechargeable AAs and have even more freedom.
