That’s fair, and I’d like to point out that multi-disc games are a fairly new addition to BC, so it’s possible that’s been part of the hold up considering pretty much all of those games are multiple discs.

Not to keep harping, but the exact opposite point was made by Square by offering Just Cause 2 as an incentive to pre-order Just Cause 3. This is a fictional issue.

Which is why they have a bunch of BC games? For the record, BC has been shown to dramatically increase the sales of these old games, and is great promotional fodder(see Just Cause) as well. The multiple disc hurdle was only somewhat recently crossed in 360 BC, so I wouldn’t be surprised to see these pop up this year.

Final Fantasy is the exception to the rule of their more “popular” IP not being BC, so FALSE. And FF12 was never on 360, so it’s an odd thing to be mad about not being BC.

There are tons of BC Square titles...not sure where you’re getting this from.

It really boils down to publishing rights and the publishers willingness to play ball. The most hardware-centric and taxing games for 360 are already BC.
