I don’t really follow as this is literally boilerplate stuff. This is the same e-mail you will see anywhere that has a merger, sells off a division, etc. The only way this could be more generic is if it was sent without filling in any of the blanks.

I’m pretty confused. Sure folks can be upset about the news in general, but nothing in that email seems particularly inappropriate.

How much of a part of this is the insanity of the Breast is Best hysteria? I know there are important documented benefits of breast milk for premature infants because the antibodies in it are valuable for helping them stave off infections, among other things, but I doubt all this demand is coming from preemie moms…
