They’re really simple to set up (there’s a hose adapter you put on your sink faucet that quick-disconnects to the hose on the unit, and a single plug that you put in a GFE outlet), and in general they do as good a job as a built-in. I second this. I had one (Frigidaire, maybe?) around twenty years ago when I bought my first house and the tiny kitchen couldn’t accommodate a full size dishwasher. It worked surprisingly well, and being able to roll it around was nice.
