The person riding the bike in this picture is a terrible human. The same person who camps in the left lane doing 56mph, passing no one on their way to the grocery store where they’ll park diagonally to take up 4 spaces to ensure their 1997 Civic doesn’t get scratched while they’re in the grocery store stopped in the

There’s a lot of cyclists on the road that don’t even know basic hand signals. Nor do many even know how to make a left turn in a multi lane road. They’ll ride two abreast on a two lane road, in traffic, forcing cars to either stack up behind them or force them to try and pass, crossing a double yellow line. Courtesy

I wish I had not read Dark Money. I sort of knew what was going on, but the book left me feeling utterly hopeless. They played the long game and won. Not sure that tanker can be turned around in my lifetime.

The problem with Uber is that as-is, it’s not a sustainable business model. Uber and Lyft both lose billions of dollars every year each and are only kept afloat by investors refilling the coffers.

You’re assuming that said patriotic American doesn’t see themselves in the Koch’s shoes. That’s the turd they sell: “One day you’ll be me and all this we’ve been setting up will be yours to take advantage of.” This is the literal sales pitch.

“Every taxi fare from JFK to Manhattan costs $52. No matter what. How is that not price-fixing?”

If Uber just actually did what they say they do, they would be fine.

It’s definitely bad news. The entire gig economy model takes labor exploitation into a stratospheric new level.

Please, please, please, please, let this happen. The gig economy is crushing people.

I have to admit, I am yet to go to a conference and not be creeped out by the guy with ‘motivational speaker’ as his title.

I think he is a bit of a sociopath. Whenever he emotes it look rehearsed. He knows when he has to smile and laugh, but he doesn’t feel or understand it. Maybe he is even a psychopath and cares fuck all about anyone.

But my impression is definitely, that whenever he is enthusiastic, smiles or laughs it feels off. It’s

A good friend of mine worked for him for years, traveling to events in Australia and Bali. She loved the travel and even walked over the hot coals but left a completely stressed-out, burnt-out mess because it was such a toxic work environment. Robbins was a narcissistic ass and his wife Sage, who my friend had more

The only thing shocking in this story is that the supervising cop used “effect” as a verb — and he did it correctly.

They are more likely to escalate a situation with a POC over a white person, but don’t sell the police short, they’re equal opportunity psychopaths.

“Not a big deal,” Bannon responded. “We were effecting a lawful arrest.”

Is anyone honestly surprised by this? Because I’m not. This just proves yet again, that racism and nationalism is rampant in many police departments. This whole thing literally shows why Black Lives Matter came out.

If you can’t treat the public with respect and are so concerned with protecting your own, you need to be fired. I’m tired of cowardly self-interested people with badges. You take on risk to protect the public. You don’t get to act with impunity or irrationally just because you’ve decided you’re on the side of good.

1: theres no way that the end of that noodle is 3 feet out
2: he looks fucking stupid

2 things: i feel like this bicyclist could be a little closer to the curb, i realize bikes are considered traffic, but come on. 2. i don’t mind a bike on the road but it infuriates me to NO END when people walk or run IN THE ROAD.
