I tried to describe the sheer genius of "Pancakes, Divorce, Pancakes" to a couple of friends, and even made them sit down and watch the episode with me. They were unmoved. I need better friends.

This may sound crazy, but without Cop Rock would we have American Dad, in all it's unexpected musical performance greatness?

I had to go check the Hannibal wiki page to make sure she was still alive. For some reason I thought she have been killed during Season 2.

"Considering Wonder Woman will be in Batman V Superman, this version of Mercy Graves could go either way."

Fuck it, that made me laugh an unreasonable amount.

I'll admit, at first Rick's (and Morty's) vocal cadence and mannerisms can be offputting, but after awhile it starts to feel natural. And it is well worth putting up with for one of the funniest shows ever made.

Wubba Lubba Dub Dub?

My days taking stiffs and gifts (Inheritances and Trusts) in Law School are well behind me, but if I recall correctly a child born within 9-10 months of a death is presumed to have been conceived prior to said death, and is therefore eligible as an heir.

Homer's fond memories of his family is one of the best gags this show has ever done! The fact that he calls her "Little Marge", and then she whiffs on the swing, and then he lumps his youngest daughter, the cat, dog, and the TV together, all hilarious.

"Some of these guys got a bad attitude, Skip!"

I love that they feel they need to constantly reiterate that only three weeks have passed, as the changes to the cast (especially Joe) are approaching ludicrous levels. I hope they start doing flashbacks to when the Dome first came down (up?) with terrible wigs ala OITNB.

I was working AV at the KU Student Union in 2007 when they did a free show. I was a huge fan of Cheap Seats and was really looking forward to it. Unfortunately, there was a huge snow storm that afternoon, and maybe 200 people came out for the show.
Part of their act was set to "Devil Went Down to Georgia", and they

"Taste the happy, Michael!"

Listen, I'm not saying it's not stupid, I'm just saying that the show has justified the rationale for the decisions being made. Would it be a better show if it was juxtaposing a modern day kidnapping ring with just the kids being groomed to fight the Abbies and rebuild civilization? Probably. But that's a YA novel,

In order to convince the residents that they need to build a new society, they would first have to explain to them the circumstances in which they find themselves; they tried that last time and everyone killed themselves. I think the current plan is to attempt to keep the adults in line long enough for the kids to get

The whole point is to keep these people alive so that they can ensure humanity's existence. The doc already explained that the first group of people were told about the reality they were living in, and they all killed themselves. Letting the resistance out would serve the same purpose as executing them, except that

I thought the final dispatch of the witches felt earned. Everything that Evelyn Poole did this season was motivated toward forcing Vanessa into a confrontation with the Devil; once she was able to defeat him, they had no other cards to play.

…sometimes dead is better?

"…like when Daly breezes past Jacobson and Glazer and says he’s going to
write a bit that fits his cowboy outfit (and then we later see that
that’s exactly what he did)."

"…because he’s dedicated to a cause more important than preservation Pilcher’s experiment."
