Any sign of a certain character from Book 7 and 8 (and eventually 9) showing up yet? Or have they dropped that plotline completely since Season 6 is the end? Curious if they are going to address it at all.

This has to end soon. Currently over $300 and up 120% (!!) on the day. Once these guys start selling off shares it’s going to drop through the floor. No one rational thinks Gamestop is worth $300/share and if the WSB crowd isn’t buying at that price who else will?

I’d also recommend the Hell’s Library series by A.J. Hackwith. Only two of them so far but the third one is one the way apparently.

Now I can’t get the idea out of my head of David Bowie in that role instead of Sean Bean.

Why don’t they just use Jovian Wade? They already have a Cyborg cast for TV. This seems simple enough.

They’re analytics are incredible. They’ve already decided to cancel it after the 3rd season as well.

Glad to see Dark on here. It’s absolute glorious convoluted insanity and I love it. The writing process must have been ridiculous. The casting is amazing too. The fact that younger/older versions of people actually do look like each other is extremely well done.

If they don’t use this as an excuse to have a talking Salem they have failed.

Tad Williams and his Otherland series would like a word.

I was wondering if this was going to happen. I kind of suspect that the Laconia storyline will just get erased and they’ll figure out some other way to end the protomolecule storyline without it. Book 9 is written so they should know that part of the ending regardless.

If you have a bunch of small 401ks from past jobs they really should be consolidated. Compound interest and all that.

As much as I hope Toyota can figure out how to make something as offroad capable as a 4Runner in an EV I’m skeptical at this point. It’s not the torque or suspension I’m worried about as much as protecting the battery pack from rocks.

I mean I guess the good news is at least the series is already finished and they don’t have to make up the last season on their own. That’s all I’ve got for the good part of this story. Otherwise ugh.

Of course it was impacted. But the outage wasn’t due to the residential portion of your service (i.e. not the portion of CenturyLink you know and hate).

A bit confusing but this isn’t because of CenturyLink’s residential service. CenturyLink owns the old Level3/Global Crossing fiber network and that accounts for a huge portion of the internet backbone in the United States. I haven’t worked there in a few years but the percentage of the internet backbone they control

Based on what I’ve read that sounds exactly like what’s going on. If that’s actually the case I wonder if the main characters can communicate at all with people moving forward in time while they are going backward. I can’t imagine they could. Obviously from the trailers physical interaction is fine but verbally they’d

The plot of DKR doesn’t really stand up to much scrutiny at all. The movie is still good but slightly weird somehow. My biggest problem with it is switching Chicago for Pittsburgh. It just doesn’t look good by comparison.

Where are the cards for insecure, financially irresponsible, and hoarding? Asking for a friend.

I can’t guarantee a client site would let me hit my company VPN though. Depending on the site in question there are times I can’t actually reach the internet. I also need the ability to statically configure my IP address at times as well.
