Unrelated, as someone currently trying to learn Japanese, what’s the point of putting the hiragana above the kanji? I’ve seen this in a couple places before, I mean it certainly helps learn the kanji but isn’t the point of kanji to not need the hiragana?

It’s a no call because it was legal. You don’t get to just make up a rule mid game because it suits you. If Jenkins had gone low and Cooks decided to duck and their helmets had hit then, you’d still be crying over it needing to be flagged. I’m pro safety, but there is an inherent risk in the sport you can’t regulate

I mean what do you want? He didn’t lead with his helmet, he got hit in the chest first and the impact made him buckle and that caused their helmets to collide. You can’t just say no blindside hits because you may as well just make defenders wear bells and have to yell out their intent before making contact if that hit

Branding and provincial loyalty. Try to get people in the New England market to root for the Boston team simply because it says Boston in their name, etc.

The Giants actually just posted an official “Stanton said nope” message on their Facebook page as well.

Because LeBron is the real GM and the actual GM just does whatever LeBron tells him to.

So how much do I have to pay for the Micheal Scofield and Lincoln Burrows skins?

I haven’t played competitively in a long time, but when I did, the meta was almost ALWAYS dominated by a single archetype and usually card (which was almost always counter/control based). Shadowmage Infiltrator, Ophidian, Masticore, every type of dumb counter card that existed, etc.

Stay classy.

The emphasis being on different syllables changes the pronunciation. But it’s in the same vein as Metrocity, just that it breaks the immersion when multiple characters pronounce the same name differently.

Thank God I’m not the only one that noticed this.

Why does it seem like actors can’t wait to be done with the Doctor? Guys will hang around a CSI or NCIS for a decade of mediocrity but a few years of Who and they’re ready. Tennant stays for 5 years and is the 2nd longest tenured Doctor (in years).

Well really Trump is much closer to A’Sharad in bringing an evil regime to power but the analogy falls apart at that point.

Yea, I mean who’s playing A’Sharad, Eric Trump?

So who’s A’Sharad Hett in this analogy?

It’s not a statue, it’s a personal threat to Hideaki Anno to finish 4.0 or they will do it for him.

This dog could start for the Browns tomorrow.

Do you want parkour terminators? Because that’s how you get parkour terminators.

That was always my question, the hosts would awaken but to what? What is going on a murderous rampage going to get you other than an armed response? I can see killing Ford prove your awareness, but once you open up on the people who literally had no clue you were more than a toaster you’ve crossed a line into an area
