The biggest mufflers... in the WORLD.

I'm obsessed with the CLK-GTR. Its right up there with the McLaren F1 as far as I'm concerned (yes the McLaren is a better car). But if I suddenly came into, oh, a billion dollars, this would be one of my first automotive purchases.

You know, that's almost a good looking car. Almost.

Wow, depression, bipolar disorder AND a headache? Where do I sign up?!

I was JUST about to post that.

Did somebody say Miata?

What the fuck?

Is Gizmodo run by 17 year olds? Or maybe early-twentysomethings who just arrived in NYC after spending their formative years in various college-town basements and are SUPER PSYCHED at the opportunity to live like quasi-grownups in the Big City for the first time ever, so they do what they think successful adults in

They used to offer an anti-glare screen as an option on the MacBook Pro's, but stopped making them because they hurt the contrast and sharpness and nobody wanted them.

I always turn off all the auto-sensing ambient light crap on my Macbook Pro and iPad. I hate it. I much prefer to just use the little slider or F1/F2 when I feel like the screen needs to be brighter or dimmer, rather than leave it up to the computer to randomly fluctuate the brightness based on changes in the ambient

These retro games always seem way more fun through the rose-colored glasses of nostalgia. Once you actually play them again its like 'oh, yeah, Angry Birds really is better'.

See, this is why I don't want to buy a bike. I don't want to become of of these insane bike people.

Yeah it was a Windows 95 game from Jane's, back when they were still making games. Their military simulations were actually pretty awesome. Too bad they got out of that business, because I'm sure with modern technology they'd be able to put together great war sims.

Personally, I'd like a really detailed naval combat game, where you're in command of a either a navy, a battle group, or an individual ship (your choice), and have to make strategic and tactical combat decisions in support of an overall objective. But very detailed and slow paced; near real-time.

Oh man, I seriously LOVED those things. And you're right, still the best lazer tag design ever.

Yeah, it looks $35k nice. It doesn't look $80k nice.

No no no Ray, 'gullwing' doors are a relic of a car company started by a hopelessly optimistic, high-profile entrepreneur, using tens of millions in tax dollars to finance an entirely new kind of automobile that nobody particularly wanted yet was promised to revolutionize the industry entirely, but was riddled with

The sea levels aren't going anywhere. Even if both ice caps melted to nothing, we'd see maybe a two inch rise. In fact, the north pole could melt to nothing and the sea level wouldn't rise at all because it's basically a giant ice cube floating in the ocean already, so it wouldn't be displacing any more or less volume

I think people in Bhutan are just happy to have houses.

But wait, I heard that socialism is a good thing and Venezuela is a workers paradise, and that Hugo Chavez is a beloved hero to the oppressed for throwing out the evil corporations! Could it be that I was misinformed?
